VINEVIDA No. 1407 is an imitation of SUNKISSED HIBISCUS™, a trademark of North Castle Partners. VINEVIDA and its products are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way associated with North Castle Partners or its trademarks.

Ways To Use NO. 1407 Fragrance Oil

We stock two different versions of this Fragrance Oil at VINEVIDA.

We recommend that Nebulizing or Cold Air Diffusers use VINEVIDA Diffuser Fragrance Oils because they are specifically designed for these types of diffusers. Order and use NO. 1407 - For Cold Air Diffusers.

Please note that diffuser fragrance oils should only be used for this particular purpose.

You will love the variety and versatility of VINEVIDA Soaps and Candles (S&C) Fragrance oil because it is designed for all your skincare and toiletries needs. It has been specifically formulated to withstand the rigorous heat processes of creating candles and soaps.

At VINEVIDA, we take your skincare as seriously, that’s why none of our fragrance oils contain Parabens, Phthalates, SLS, or  SLES. You can trust them on your precious skin. Our fragrance oils are never tested on animals.

Come and discover how to use fragrance oils. We’ll start by looking at them in three logical and distinct categories: Topical Products, Scenting The Home, and Diffusers and Candle Burners.

    Topical Products

With VINEVIDA S&C fragrance oils it’s quick and simple to create quality skin care at home.

For topical products, always choose the Soaps and Candles Fragrance Oil option. Because we stock two types of NO. 1407 fragrance oil at VINEVIDA, it’s important you purchase the right fragrance oil for the right application.

Our S&C Fragrance Oils are designed by industry professionals to work in conjunction with a large range of natural ingredients. They excel in making skin care products because the fragrance oils are specifically designed to retain their integrity and fragrance. This is an important function and feature when you need to heat base ingredients, like making Body Butters, Beauty Balms, and Skin Salves.

You can blend them easily into a variety of natural bases, like candle waxes, carrier oils, and cosmetic butter to create first-class products.

You get dependable results making Melt and Pour Soaps and Cold Process Soaps because VINEVIDA S&C fragrance oils are designed to withstand the intense heat and rigors of the soap-making process.

Use NO. 1407 to create vibrant and luminous soaps, evoking a tropical paradise. Ideal for any time of the day, and anywhere in the home. Despite being an unmistakably feminine scent, it works well in soap that will appeal to everyone.

It is not too difficult to give a more masculine slant to NO. 1407 either. I’ll show you how a little later on.

You will want the tropical paradise scent of NO. 1407 to linger all day, blending it into products with a cosmetic butter or a high oil content helps the scent last longer. For this reason, we highly recommend using it for making Massage Oils, Luxe Crémes, and Bath Oils.

NO. 1407 is a tropical fragrance and can be used at any time of the day or night.

It is suited to sun-loving products.  Its tropical aroma lends itself to After Sun, Sun Cream, and Facial Oil and is perfect for creating tropical paradise-themed holiday sun and skincare gift sets.

Did you realize that you can use VINEVIDA S&C fragrance oils to design and create incredible makeup?

It’s really easy to create homemade cosmetics. Pull back the curtain on the cosmetics world, they make money from you thinking that it is shrouded in chemical sorcery and secrecy, but it isn’t!

You can utilize VINEVIDA S&C fragrance oils to fragrance products like Blush Tints, Eye Shadows, and Mineral Foundation.

VINEVIDA fragrance oils are NOT suitable for making lip products. Essential oils are a better choice for lip products.

      Layer Your Perfumes

Why not create your own unique Signature Scent? They are such exciting projects to work on. Design an incredible fragrance that is truly bespoke and individual to you by simply combining NO. 1407 with our other fragrance oils and essential oils.

Create a harmonious layer of fragrance by combining the aromas of your skincare and toiletries, I show you the way in Layering Perfumes With Essential Oils - The Body Edition. Of course, you use the same principles for fragrance oils.

      Scenting The Home

Perfume bottle & red hibiscus on background

Standing in the home scent aisle of a store these days is just mind-boggling. There is so much choice, too much almost. I just end up overwhelmed by it all and I end up just walking away and buying nothing. That usually happens because I find it far more pleasant, and much easier, to make my own products at home. They are also products I can trust because I know what went into them.

As soon as you realize all the ways you can use S&C fragrance oils to scent your home, you will be amazed at their scope and versatility.

      Create a Signature Home Scent

As soon as you have designed your Signature Home Scent, you can have fun creating matching scented products.  It’s really easy to make matching Reed Diffusers, Room Sprays, Candles, and Wax Melts. Unify the fragrance of your home, using them in combination with one another.

NO. 1407 is a beautiful tropical paradise fragrance. Frangipani and Coconut exude sunshine and warmth. Heady florals bloom in the heartspace and Golden Amber rounds it all off masterfully. There is always a little room in the scent profile to add a unique touch and make it yours.
NO. 1407 is ideal for any room and can be used all around the home. Create something amazing simply by blending it with other essential oils and fragrance oils. Kick expensive designer brands to the curb and try a new direction. This is a great place to start.

Once you have designed your own unique Signature Home Scent you will never look back! Change it with the seasons if you like and create your own holiday scents too.  Layering Perfumes In The Home and the Blending Framework below give you a headstart.

Candles and Wax Products For The Home

NO. 1407 is perfect for creating tropical paradise-themed products like Reed Diffusers, Candles, Wax Melts, and Wax Sachets. The appealing scent appeals to a wide range of customers.

It’s strikingly feminine but you can ramp it up even more and make it brighter with citrus notes. For a masculine finish, add citrus greens into the top notes, spices into the heart notes, and deep down on the woods in the base.

      Scented Products For The Home

When you go to the trouble of creating a Signature Home Scent with NO. 1407, it makes sense to make it work hard for you all across the home. Use it to refresh your linens and soft furnishing. Room sprays are easy entry-level projects to start with, try our easy homemade spray recipes.

Use NO.1407 in your room diffusers and use Reed Diffusers, Scented Candles, and Wax Melts to create a layered effect.

Your Signature Scent can even be used in the car in your car air freshener, find out How To Make a Car Air Freshener With Essential And Fragrance Oils in the brand-new recipe below.

We all have those pesky whiffs and sniffs in our homes, use NO. 1407 alongside VINEVIDA odor-eliminating fragrance oils. They are ideal for use in conjunction with other fragrance oils like NO. 1407 with complimentary Citrus or Vanilla scents and effective deodorizing capabilities. Either version would pair nicely with NO. 1407, freshen things up with the Citrus or go smooth and comforting with Vanilla.

      Cleaning Products for The Home

Do you want your home to smell first class? Consider using NO. 1407 to create your own home cleaning products. Create surface cleansers, disinfectants, and loo bombs. The whole house will be spick and span and smell like a tropical paradise.

Protect Surfaces and Furnishings From Fragrance Oil

Disclaimer: As oil-based products, fragrance oils may stain polished and painted surfaces, furniture, and furnishings. Please take steps to protect surfaces before use.

It would be wise to carry out patch tests in inconspicuous areas, especially on your more precious surfaces and linens.

      Diffusers and Candle Burners

      Electric essential oil diffuser

      Aromatherapy Candle Burners

VINEVIDA  NO. 1407 S&C fragrance oil can be used in all types of Aromatherapy candle burners.

NEVER use VINEVIDA Soaps and Candles Fragrance Oil in your Nebulizing or Cold Air Diffusers. The fluid is too thick and viscous and can easily block the delicate nozzles on these types of diffusers.

If you have a Nebulizing or Cold Air diffuser use NO. 1407 DIFFUSER Fragrance Oil.

We completely understand it's confusing with all the different types of diffusers on the market, especially when it comes to which fragrance oil to choose and being sure you are making the right decision

Let us guide the way with our comprehensive guidance on How To Use VINEVIDA Oils. It covers a variety of applications and uses.

It is always our first recommendation to consult the manufacturer's instructions for your own individual diffusers. You must get their specific guidance on your machine, please.

      Blending Recommendations

NO. 1407 is the vibrant and luminous scent of a tropical paradise, you can still make it your own by adding your own little flourish with other VINEVIDA Fragrance Oils and Essential Oils.

Our fragrance oils are the perfect blending companions. We thoroughly recommend experimenting and trying new, exciting, and original blends at home for yourself.

I like to lighten it off with sharp green citrus notes like NO. 1301- Inspired By: Bergamote 22 By Le Labo. Add a dash of masculinity and deepen it right down with NO. 3100 - Inspired By: Tobacco Vanille By Tom Ford.

Add to the front end of the fragrance with tart and zingy essential oils like Lemongrass and Bergamot, and add spice to the heart notes with Black Pepper and Nutmeg. Deepen it right down with Cedarwood and Patchouli.

Creative Ways To Use And Blend NO. 1407

Developing this tropical showcase for NO. 1407 Soaps and Candles Fragrance Oil has been like a trip to faraway lands. It has been like a holiday at home and my home smells amazing and so can yours!

With the distinctly floral Frangipani and Coconut embrace, heady floral heart notes, and the Golden Amber finish, it's one to remember! You will have so much fun creating these tropical blends and projects. Treat yourself, your family & friends, and your customers to a slice of paradise at home.

      NO. 1407 Diffuser Blends

Let's make an exciting selection of diffuser blends for your home!

All you need to know is the exact places where you can add your own little flourishes and the best way to do it.

Shall we refresh our minds on the fragrance notes? I’ll give you my best recommendations and choices for you to have fun experimenting and trying out new blends.

      Original Scent Profile Ideal Companions
Top Cream Coconut, Frangipani, White Florals Bergamot, Pink and White Grapefruit, Sweet Orange, Mandarin, Tangerine
      Lemongrass, Litsea Cubeba
      Raspberry, Apricot, Peach
Heart Gardenia, Orange Blossom Cardamom, Nutmeg, Black Pepper
      Neroli, Jasmine, Honeysuckle
Base Amber, Tuberose Amyris, Balsam Copaiba, Clove, Cedarwood, Oud, Palo Santo, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Vetiver

      Follow This Framework

        1. Keep the top notes sharp, tart, and green preferably.  I would opt for green noted citrus oils like Lemongrass or Orange citrus notes, like Mandarin. Fruits like Peaches and Apricots seem to blend with it quite well too.
        2. Keep the heart space heady with florals with choices like Neroli, Jasmine, and Honeysuckle.
        3. Introduce spices with deeper notes of Black Pepper, Orange scented Cardamom, and complimentary Nutmeg.
        4. Add sharp greens and spices helps to push a more masculine tilt, but really ramp it up in the base notes with Patchouli, Vetiver, and Cedarwood.
        5. Don’t forget when you add a dash of Vanilla, it affects our whole limbic system. Helping to foster feelings of comfort, security, and safety. It's an inspired addition to any blend to help people feel safer in your space.
        6. Work a drop at a time, stop to mix, and test your blend before adding more. This way you can’t go wrong. Working in this way, over time, will help you build blending confidence and skills.

We provide this easy-to-follow framework because we want you to be successful. It will help you to maintain the balance of the original scent and in doing so, improve your chances of success.

      IFRA Safety

Diffuser Blends fall under IFRA Category 12. NO. 1407 Fragrance oil has no safety restrictions in this category which means within reason, you can use as much as you want. However, you must understand that more does not mean better. There is still a happy balance of the scent profile to maintain.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are using a Nebulizing or Cold Air Diffuser you must use the DIFFUSER Fragrance Oil variation.

NEVER use the Soaps & Candles variation in Cold Air Diffusers, the fluid is too thick for these machines and is likely to clog them up.

        1. Our Diffuser Blends are so easy to do at home.
        2. Measure out the essential oils and fragrance oils into a small measuring jug.
        3. Combine them all together with a stainless steel spoon, or a glass stirrer.
        4. Decant the oils into a 10ml dropper bottle. Use a funnel to help you keep the bottle clean, oil-free, and dry. It helps your label to adhere better.
        5. Minimize waste and get all your money’s worth by getting every last precious morsel of oil from the jug and funnel. If you use a quality silicone spatula, you can get every last bit, which is so important when using expensive essential oils and absolutes. Save money and the planet all at once. 🙂
        6. Clearly list the ingredients on an oil-proof label. For obvious safety reasons, you must ALWAYS label your bottle as ‘UNDILUTED’.

      How To Use:

        1. Consult your manufacturer's instructions for their specific guidance on your individual diffuser. Given you all have different diffusers, it’s the best advice we can give you!
        2. Dilute your blend, if guided, to suit your individual diffuser.

      Castaway Island

      Seascapes and tropical palm trees

Imagine an unspoiled island, brimming with tropical flowers and fruits. Let yourself be Castaway for as long, or as little, as you like and escape to paradise with this fun blend.

I’ve added in tart citrus notes for a fresh and bright introduction but with a little fruitiness to keep things light-hearted and fun.

        • Not designed for use on the skin.
        • Do not diffuse where cats are present.

      Paradise In Shorts and Sliders

Back view of happy young man jumping

Let me show you how to change an overtly feminine scent and make it more masculine.

I went citrus green in the top notes with Bergamot, then added spice into the heart notes to compete with the florals. They are quite powerful in their own right so I chose the complimentary notes of Cardamom and Black Pepper. Adding in the Tobacco and Vanilla notes, really deepens it all down beautifully and changes it into something completely unique and incredible.

        • Not designed for use on the skin.
        • Do not diffuse where cats are present.

      Paradise Found

Fill your home with the scents of Paradise, lay back, relax and unwind. Let your mind and spirit wander the white beaches of your imagination.

DIY Recipes Using NO. 1407 Soaps and Candles Fragrance Oil

We are ridiculously passionate about the potential and possibilities of VINEVIDA’s Soaps and Candles fragrance oils. Their sheer versatility never fails to excite us and we’d love you to start your journey of discovery with us. Prepare to be excited by the huge variety of projects you can create with VINEVIDA fragrance oils.

This week, we have a tropical paradise in a bottle of NO. 1407. It brings white beaches, lapping waves, and shimmering sunsets to your home and beauty products.

First, we are going to make a glorious Sun Shimmer Oil. It’s incredible as an After Sun product with all the luscious and soothing essential oils and carrier oils. It doubles up as a glorious day-to-night Shimmer Oil, making your skin look smooth, luminous, and vibrant with health. That bit of shimmer adds to the whole effect.

For our second project, I’m going to show you how you can take the tropical paradise theme and use it in your car to bring peace, tranquility, and calm to those bumper-to-bumper days.

      Sun Shimmer Oil

This is such a simple but effective recipe, you’ll be thrilled with the final effects of this one.

It’s easy to spend too long in the sun and the sooner you can get essential oils to work to soothe your skin the better. The carrier oils all bring their amazing properties and antioxidants too. Fatty acids, like Linoleic Acid, get to work to restore the barrier function of the skin, soothing, smoothing, and promoting cell regeneration and renewal to heal the skin.

If you would rather make this as a Simmer Lotion instead, or create an After Sun lotion without any shimmer, check out Radiant Beach Body: Unlock Beauty With Essential Oils Kit for more exciting recipes and tutorials.

      IFRA Safety

NO. 1407 in IFRA category 5A has maximum safety restrictions of 15%. This means in 100ml of Facial Massage Oil, you cannot use any more than 15 ml.

Use the option on the VINEVIDA calculator for Body Oil to work out the correct safety data in the right category.

      You Will Need:

        1. Small Measuring Jug
        2. Stainless Steel Spoon
        3. Funnel
        4. 100 ml Bottle (Choose plastic if you are traveling and glass for home storage).
        5. Oil proof Label

Optional: Preservative of your choice - follow your individual manufacturer's guidance.

        • Do not use it in the first 16 weeks of pregnancy.

        1. Measure out your carrier oils, and combine them together.
        2. Take a tsp of the carrier oils and put it in a small bowl or pestle and mortar and sprinkle on the Mica powder. Stir well to combine, take the time to remove any lumps now.
        3. Once lump-free, add a little more of the oil to slacken it off nicely and pour it into the carrier oil. Try it on your skin now, if you feel there is too much Mica, add more carrier oil. If you want a bit more shimmer, follow the same process and add a bit more until you are happy with the depth of the shimmer. Don’t go nuts, or you’ll look like a Ferrero Rocher!
        4. Add your NO. 1407 Soaps and Candles Fragrance Oil and the essential oils and mix well.
        5. Decant into a bottle, use a funnel to keep the bottle clean, and help your label stick!
        6. List all of the ingredients for safety reasons, using an oil-proof label.

      How To Use:

        1. ALWAYS carry out a 24 - 48 hour patch test before use please.
        2. Warm a few drops of oil in your palm and work gently into the skin, especially if you have burnt yourself!
        3. You can use this 2-3 times a day if sunburnt. Once a day if not.
        4. Use within 3-6 months.

      IFRA Safety and Guidelines

Air Freshening Refill Liquid falls into IFRA Category 12. Soaps and Candles fragrance oils have no safety restrictions in this category. However, we still always recommend that you dilute your Soaps and Candles fragrance oils.

      You Will Need:

        1. A Measuring Jug
        2. Stainless Steel Spoon
        3. Small funnel to fit your car air freshener bottle and yes, it is worth buying one to keep with your Bottle!
        4. Small refillable car air freshener Bottle
        5. 100ml Bottle and Lid
        6. Oil proof Label

Optional:  Preservative - follow your individual manufacturer's guidance.

        • Not designed for topical use.
        • Perfumers Alcohol and Dipropylene Glycol are both flammable solvents. Do not use them near open heat sources or naked flames.

        1. If you are using a preservative, follow the manufacturer's instructions. Note how much to add, and when, in the process of adding it.
        2. It’s all very simple! Just combine your ingredients until well mixed.
        3. Decant the mixture into a 100m storage bottle, use a funnel for ease, and keep the bottle clean and oil-free. It helps the label stick better too!
        4. Label clearly. List all ingredients for safety reasons. Annotate: ’Flammable’ on the label.

      How to Use:

        1. Remember your fluid is flammable, so please do not smoke or be near open heat sources or naked flames, like candles, when you are refilling your car air freshener bottle.
        2. Use a tiny funnel designed to fit into your car air freshener bottle or a washable pipette to fill your bottle.
        3. Do not overfill your bottle, to avoid the chances of it leaking in the car.
        4. Once the air freshener is full, apply the cap firmly.
        5. Hang the air freshener where it can release its fragrance or pin to an air vent. It will work more effectively in a place that has decent airflow.
        6. For safety, please don’t hang it from your rearview mirror! It could be a dangerous distraction, obstructing your view. Stay safe!

I think it is perfect for filling your home with the scent of memory-filled vacations and the air of a tropical paradise, white sandy beaches, and glorious sunsets. Add it to your summer skincare and toiletries for a burst of summer and an uplifting experience.

Ok, so it is an unmistakably feminine fragrance, but you can easily add masculine notes and tip the balance over. It is perfect for scenting men’s holiday toiletries and holiday clothes!

NO. 1407 is one of our summer favorites here at VINEVIDA. It’s a popular fragrance oil for making perfume, skincare, and toiletries. We think it is great to fill the home with the scent of a tropical paradise and remind you of precious holiday memories.
