Scent Profile

A refined and luminous Citron brightness is softened into a bouquet of cool green leaves, airy Cherry Blossoms and freshly cut slices of Guava. Producing a silky and polished freshness, reminiscent of fingers of afternoon sunlight pouring through studio windows onto the soft sheen of silk and polished wood surfaces, patinated over time. It feels peaceful, calm and quietly luxurious.

The heart opens into a graceful and sophisticated accord of cascading blooms. Soft Lilacs tumble into powdery Violets, dewy Roses and aquatic Waterlilies. A nostalgic Pound Cake accord brings familiarity and comfort to this refined, velvety, powdery heart.  Echoing sumptuous fabric samples, moodboards and artistic designs adorning the atelier.

The rich musky base is generously laced with rich golden droplets of Amber and creamy ribbons of Vanilla before a soft, sensual veil of Coumarin finishes this polished aroma with luxurious longevity, effortless sophistication and a soft skin-like warmth.

Understanding The IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution

Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making. It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil. 

In some cases these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce. 

As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or as frugal as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.

Based on the ingredients used, as per the International Fragrance Regulation Authority, the maximum dilutions given above apply.

Blending NO. 162

We find it lends itself beautifully to blending with its captivating and quietly sensual range of aromatics. It makes for an extremely versatile and highly coveted fragrance oil for the modern scent connoisseur. Try blending it with:

• NO. 162 Fragrance Oil Is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for any kind of lip or mouth related products as per their categories 1 and 6.

We recommend testing a small amount before scaling up to larger size formulations. As with all VINEVIDA products. 

• While NO. 162 Fragrance Oil will have no therapeutic properties, because it is a synthetic product, it’s a wonderful way to scent your home. Have the best time experimenting and making your home an ever more beautiful expression of you.
