NO. 5400 is a rich and dark Woody Amber fragrance for men and women purposefully designed to make an impact and a statement, for when you want the world to notice you. 

It is a sublime masterclass in Middle Eastern perfumery with its modern, sharp fruit accords tempered with sumptuous Damask Roses and a deep resinous base, resounding with precious Oud.

Scent Profile 

The modern opening bursts forth with tart notes of overripe Raspberries, rolled and pressed into sharp Lemon juice. Punchy green notes of fresh Rose Geranium leaves start the sumptuous undulations of luscious Rose accords throughout this sensual aroma. 

Sunlight filters through golden rivulets of Honey and brings sweetness when drizzled over piles of crushed Rose petals and rosy red hips.  Spicy, smoky notes of Incense tendril skyward carrying bright orange notes of Saffron and powdery Violet. Creating a textured aromatic layer of silk over velvet and satin.

The drydown is where all the magnetic impact is to be found. Rich golden droplets of Amber drip into thick, sticky puddles of resinous Benzoin. Fresh shavings of Birchwood contrast the aged decay of Oud to create an expansive foundation. Finished with a mysterious lingering trail of sensuous Patchouli and alluring Musk.

Understanding The IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution

Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making. It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil.

In some cases these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce.

As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or as frugal as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.

Based on the ingredients used, as per the International Fragrance Regulation Authority, the maximum dilutions given above apply.

Blending NO. 5400

We find it lends itself beautifully to blending with its sensual and statement-making range of rich, dark aromatics. It makes for an extremely versatile and highly coveted fragrance oil for the modern scent connoisseur. Try blending it with:

• NO. 5400 Fragrance Oil is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for any kind of lip or mouth related products as per their categories 1 and 6.

We recommend testing a small amount before scaling up to larger size formulations. As with all VINEVIDA products.
