Close your eyes and imagine yourself, sitting in a garden with the birds singing softly and sweetly.

The sun warms the peaches on the tree and makes them sweetly fragrant and rather tempting. Honeysuckle entwines herself around the bower you sit under and embraces you with her beautiful fragrant gifts.

The smells of fresh baking weave their way across from the house. Memories flood in and you find yourself in a place of comfort and happiness, smiling to yourself.

Mix 25ml of Our Version Of Juicy Georgia Peach By BBW Fragrance Oil with 75ml of White Vinegar in a large jar. Add lightweight cloth squares to the jar so they soak up the mixture. Keep adding cloth squares until the jar is relatively full and every cloth soaks up some of the mixture. You want the cloths to be mildly damp, rather than soaking wet.

You can add more fragrance oil if you wish but run it through the dryer first as the vinegar smell tends to totally disappear on the clothes.

Always make sure to label the jar accurately and clearly with all ingredients and add your date for safety purposes.

How to Use:

    1. Take 2 cloth squares and drop them into your tumble dryer with your clothes
    2. Avoid using them with particularly delicate clothes or fabrics like silk.
    3. Keep out of reach of pets and children.

Beauty Ideas

Body Lotion

You can add our skin safe fragrance oils to base lotions to make absolutely gorgeous Body Lotions. Once you realize how easy it is to do, you will wonder why you have never done it before?

The trick here, is to buy the best unscented lotion base you can afford. Go for organic, natural products if you can. If you use body lotion a lot or wish to give some as gifts, consider buying in bulk, to make it more cost effective.

Our Version Of Juicy Georgia Peach By BBW Fragrance Oil in IFRA category 5a has a safety dilution ratio of 34.91%

You can use quite a lot of fragrance oil here in your base lotion, but we still think that just 2% gives a strong enough aroma that will last well on the skin.

In a measuring jug, simply take 98 ml of base lotion and add 2 ml of Our Version Of Juicy Georgia Peach By BBW Fragrance Oil and mix it well into the base lotion. Add a preservative if you want to, follow the individual manufacturers instructions on that. Using a funnel, decant into a suitable bottle. Label clearly listing all the ingredients for safety reasons.

Simple eh?

Make sure that you do a 24-48 hour patch test before you use it on your body.

It makes you realize that you don’t have to go out and spend BIG bucks on designer brands. Especially, when you can make something luxurious, decadent and glorious right in your own kitchen.

It’s great for people who have very sensitive skin and who need to be cautious about what they are putting on their skin. It gives you total control over your ingredients and you can do what is best for your own skin. After all, catering to my own sensitive skin is what led me here today.

Our Favorite Recipes

This is where I share my favorite recipes with Our Version Of Juicy Georgia Peach By BBW fragrance oil with you.

I have chosen something that seems to be all the rage on your side of the pond. Car Freshies! They are pretty new to me here in the UK, but I did my trials with them and think I have perfected the process to make it super easy for you.

Car Freshies

I like a scent in a car to not be too overpowering or heady and this is perfect with the fresh, juicy start, floral heart and Vanilla finish. Our Version Of Juicy Georgia Peach By BBW fragrance oil simply makes you smile.

This process takes a few days because you need several days for the fragrance oil to infuse into your Aroma Beads.

The safety dilution for this category is not restricted, so you can use as much as you like….within reason of course!

Makes 6-7 small tins/molds of Car Freshies

You will need:

    1. Jar with a tight fitting lid
    2. Jar Funnel
    3. Baking tray - Use one just for this purpose and that will not be used for food
    4. Baking parchment
    5. Scales you can tare
    6. Stainless steel spoon or stirrer
    7. Small 1oz tins or similar sized molds.
    8. Labels

Ingredients:

If using molds instead of tins:

    • Large Roofing Nails
    • Pliers
    • Hanging ribbon

Method:

Part One - Scenting the Aroma Beads

    1. Place your jar onto your scales and tare your scales (send it back to zero).
    2. Carefully pour in 8oz of Aroma Beads, use a jar funnel if it is easier.
    3. Tare your scales back to zero
    4. Add in your colored Mica powder at this stage, how much depends on the intensity of color you want to achieve. Start with small amounts and add more if necessary.
    5. You can add glitter at this stage as well.
    6. Add in 2 oz of Our Version Of - Juicy Georgia Peach By BBW or a fragrance oil of your choice.
    7. Shake the jar vigorously to equally disperse the fragrance oil and mica pigments around and through the Aroma Beads.
    8. Label and date your jar - use some masking tape for easy removal - trust me if you have several on the go, it’s easy to forget which is which!
    9. Set the jar aside in a cool, dry and accessible place.
    10. Shake the jar every day as many times as you can.
    11. The process takes at least 2-4 days depending on your ambient temperature and humidity and could take as much as a week.
    12. It is done when your Aroma Beads no longer stick to the inside of the jar and move freely when shaken gently.

Part Two - Baking The Tins

For Molds - follow the instructions below instead.

    1. Preheat your oven to 300F
    2. Take your baking tray and line it with baking parchment/greaseproof paper
    3. Take your tins place on scales.
    4. Using a suitable spoon or scoop, put 1.2 oz of aroma beads into your tins
    5. Fill the tins well as the beads will condense down quite a bit.
    6. Make sure they are evenly distributed across the top and lie flat.
    7. Place the tins on the lined baking sheet, placing them so they are not touching each other.
    8. Carefully pop into the oven and bake for 10 -15 Mins - but keep your eye on them
    9. Remove from the oven using an oven glove and allow to rest
    10. Once fully cooled - decorate if you wish.
    11. Lid tightly and label
    12. Seal into airtight ziplock bags or vac pack to maintain the aroma.
    13. Label clearly, list all ingredients for safety.
    14. Please remember to also date it for stock control if you plan to sell them.

Part Three - Baking The Molds

    2. Take your baking tray and line it with baking parchment/greaseproof paper
    3. Take your molds and arrange them on the tray so they are not touching
    4. Place a roofing nail with the flat end to the tray, where you want your hanging hole to be. Consider how it will hang if it is not a balanced shape, or your mold has a very narrow or tapered top.
    5. Using a suitable spoon or scoop, put your aroma beads into your molds
    6. Fill the molds well as the beads will condense down quite a bit.
    7. Make sure they are evenly distributed across the top and lie flat.
    8. Carefully pop into the oven and bake for 10 -15 Mins - but keep your eye on them
    9. Remove from the oven using an oven glove and allow to rest for about 15 minutes, until they are cool enough to handle but not totally cold.
    10. Remove from the tray and then from the molds.

    12. Trim the edges if wished with scissors
    13. Add a hanging loop and any additional decorations like beads, silk flowers or tassels
    14. Seal into airtight ziplock bags or vac pack to maintain the aroma.

Sugar Scrub

I have just sat here wracking my brains over what recipe to include here, for sake of variety and always trying to offer you something new and exciting. It occurred to me I don’t always need to reinvent the wheel and sometimes the tried, tested and loved recipes are the way to go.

I was imagining the smell of peaches and it reminded me of a product that I recently won! You will all know by now, I am always VERY cautious of what I use on my skin, so tentatively I tried it out after patch testing it. It’s a beautifully scented, totally natural Muscovado Sugar Scrub with Mango and it is delicious.

It’s also evocative of the scent profile of Our Version Of - Juicy Georgia Peach By BBW and I think it will work perfectly in a Sugar Scrub. It’s so simple to make too and yields beautiful results for your skin.

Again, we are looking at Our Version Of Juicy Georgia Peach By BBW Fragrance Oil in IFRA category 5a which has a safety dilution ratio of 34.91%

We would still recommend sticking to a 2% safety dilution rate, add more if you feel it needs it.

You Will Need:

    • Stainless steel spoon or stirrer
    • Measuring jugs or measuring cups
    • Non-reactive mixing bowl
    • Jar with a non-reactive lid - glass preserving jars with rubber seals are perfect.

Ingredients

We suggest using a 1:1 ratio of sugar to your chosen carrier oil

Optional

  • A preservative of your choice - follow the manufacturer guidelines for addition.

Method

    1. Take a mixing bowl and combine ¼ cup of Muscovado Sugar with ¼ cup of Jojoba carrier oil.
    2. Combine thoroughly with a large spoon, ensuring all the sugar is evenly covered in the oil.
    3. Once the sugar and carrier oil are well combined, add 2.5ml of Our Version Of Juicy Georgia Peach By BBW Fragrance Oil, and then mix again until thoroughly distributed.
    4. Carefully, scoop it in the jar. It helps if you clean the rim meticulously before putting it on the lid. (Especially if you plan to sell them). Any product left on the rim and caught in the cap could cause it to mold.
    5. This recipe may be stored for up to six months if kept in the dark and at a consistent and ambient temperature. The only thing that is likely to go 'off' is if the carrier oil turns rancid. You would smell this as soon as you open the jar. Should that happen, discard it and make a new batch.

How To Use

Use a small spatula or spoon rather than your fingers to get the scrub out of the jar. Simply because every time you pop your fingers in the scrub, you are leaving bacteria off your fingers behind. You don’t want them to make friends and breed. Use a spoon 🙂

    1. Work the scrub gently into your skin, paying particular attention to the elbows, knees, heels and places where you might have hard or flaking skin.
    2. Rinse off in clean, warm water and use a soft cloth if necessary.
    3. Massage the oil into your skin - it helps get the blood moving and promote cell renewal for smoother and more supple skin.
    4. Avoid using around the eye area, if you do get any in your eyes, rinse well with perfectly clean, tepid water. If irritation persists, seek immediate medical advice taking the clearly labeled container with you.

Safety

Take care getting in and out of the bath or shower when using this as it will leave an oily residue. Be especially careful if you are using it on your feet and have hard floors, we suggest popping a pair of socks on to minimize the risk of slipping.
