NO. 179 - Moonlight is an atmospheric Floral Musk fragrance for women and men. Inspired by the harvest moon of the autumn equinox, travelling in a shallow graceful arc, it appears right after sunset, offering vital extra light in which to gather the abundance of harvest. 

Envisage a tranquil night, where there are still the last vestiges of warmth in the earth, the full moon rises above the woodland and shards of silver light filter through the changing leaves. Its silvery reflection mirrored in the still waters of the mill pond and peace and serenity pervade the musky night air.

Scent Profile

Softly sparkling notes of Bergamot and Lemon bring gentle freshness and create a delicate cool night air accord. Softer pine-like tones of Larch introduce woodland aromas along with a welcome thicket of autumn Raspberries. Here, the world slows and becomes beautifully peaceful and still.

Transparent and translucent florals shimmer through the heartspace for a luminous and ethereal effect. Understanding The IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution

Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making. It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil. 

In some cases these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce. 

As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or as frugal as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.

Based on the ingredients used, as per the International Fragrance Regulation Authority, the maximum dilutions given above apply.

Blending NO. 179
