NO. 124 - Frozen Lake is a striking, cool and mineralic Woody Musk fragrance for men and women. It evokes that moment where you stop out of the tree line and are met with the icy cool vista of a simmering, crystalline, frozen lake. It is truly exhilarating and makes you feel glad to be alive.

Scent Profile

A breath of winter cools the lungs with its Camphor frost and crisp Menthol air for an opening that is sharp, bracing, and unmistakably cold. Together, they create the sensation of stepping onto frozen water where the lake lies silent, glassed over and crystalline.

As the frosty mist settles, the landscape emerges. Dark green Pine trees ring the water and their slender needles crunch underfoot, throwing up scents of Pine resin and cold earth. Subtle notes of Lavender add the merest floral lift to the otherwise green heartspace.

Understanding The IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution

Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making. It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil. 

In some cases these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce. 

As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or as frugal as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.

Based on the ingredients used, as per the International Fragrance Regulation Authority, the maximum dilutions given above apply.

Blending NO. 124

We find it lends itself beautifully to blending with its clean and airy range of aromatics. It makes for an extremely versatile and highly coveted fragrance oil for the modern scent connoisseur. Try blending it with:

• NO. 124 Fragrance Oil Is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for any kind of lip or mouth related products as per their categories 1 and 6.
