NO. 3700 is a Fruity Floral fragrance for women. In the 1990’s, YSL fragrances were dominated by the iconic sensual powerhouses of Opium and Paris, this fragrance was designed to be intentionally contrasting to those aromas, providing a light and joyful experience.

It still lives and breathes Parisian chic, just with a more youthful, vital and flirtatious character.  Inspired by the modern, young women, chattering and laughing in street cafés, bare shouldered in pink silk dresses and bedecked carefree and casual in glossed lips. A scent of girlish rebellion through innocence and femininity, without heaviness.

Scent Profile

NO. 3700 opens with a burst of mischievous laughter spilling onto a Parisian street. Citrus candies in silk pockets, like the fizz of sparkling pink Lemonade. An uplifting Apple and Peach  ribbon adds fruity, buoyant sweetness, refracting like sunlight bouncing off shop windows. The opening is flirtation at first glance with impressions of candied Pear and Pineapple. A glossy, playful twist of Blackcurrant leaves, whisper a faint green-aromatic clarity, keeping the scent airy and bright to the end.

The heartspace blooms into a bouquet of perfectly pink Roses, tied with sateen ribbons. Fresh, sheer petals and dewy green stems create a modern Lily Of The Valley-Rose accord that feels freshly washed and softly luminous. The youthful and playful floral core with a green, slightly minty edge is finished in the merest hint of warm spice from Clove, for a feminine, light-hearted, and tantalizingly playful heart.

The base notes create the feeling of a soft embrace, like slipping on a cashmere cardigan after dancing or bare skin warmed by the afternoon sun. Pale, dry notes of smooth Cedarwood add architecture and structure before sinking into a transparent Sandalwood and Amber backbone and a balsamic, musky-cotton halo that defines NO. 3700’s clean, cuddly skin-scent signature. The sweetness of Tonka Bean and Vanilla settle into a soft, comforting hum for an innocent, but undeniably sensual scent.
