NO. 1919 Fragrance Oil for Soaps & Candles
NO. 1919 is a Spicy Oriental fragrance for men and women. When the heartwood of the Aquilaria tree, usually quite pale and unremarkable, is infected by a specific mold, it produces a dark, highly aromatic resin as a defense mechanism. Over a period of many years, this aromatic resin saturates the wood and transforms it into Oud or Agarwood.
Oud is an ancient and mysterious prized aromatic and its use stretches back into the annals of time. Used reverently for ritual incense, it is now used widely for fragrance. because of its unique complexity, which is unlike any other natural ingredient.
This fragrance is a westernized interpretation of traditional Oud and reflects the meeting of cultures where heritage depth is reimagined through the contemporary minimalism of Scandinavia.
Sensual, spiritual, mysterious. It lingers with quiet authority and timeless depth.

Scent Profile
NO. 1919 bursts forth with the aromatic brightness of Clary Sage, lightening the opening of Spiced Rum notes, running into juicy rivulets of dark Blackberries and Plum. Subtle and intriguing notes of warm, peppery spice, hint at the exotic woods to come, creating an opening that is polished, inviting and quietly mysterious.
Grassy, buttery notes of Coumarin and a delicate nuance of Rose smooth and soften the darker facets of warm, earthy Cinnamon and Saffron spice. Here sweetness dissolves into shadow and velvet petals meet dark, polished woods.
The base creates the shadow beneath the bloom, where Patchouli brings earthy, resinous woodiness to meet the sensual, animalic notes of Leather and powdery Musk. Cedarwood brings dry architectural structure and Balsam adds powerful diffusion to enhance projection and longevity. Vanilla adds subtle, creamy sweetness, to round out the dominant Oud accord. Leaving you with a lingering finish that is warm, resinous, and quietly commanding.
Choose NO. 1919 for its rich aromatic composition of dark Oud and warm spicy woody accords. Balanced with soft, sweet fruit and florals, and sweet resinous, leathery warmth. Perfectly designed for anyone who appreciates modern Oud interpretations with smooth elegance, rather than the raw intensity common with Middle Eastern Oud interpretations.

IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution
Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making.
It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil. In some cases these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce. As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or parsimonious as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.
Based on the ingredients used, as per the International Fragrance Regulation Authority, the following maximum dilutions apply.
