NO. 134 - Peonies After Dark is a mysterious dark floral fragrance for women and men, beautifully capturing the scent of a moonlit Peony garden.

Scent Profile 

Evening dew rises on green leaves and meets the radiant sunset sparkle of Lemon. Deepened and energized with aromatic notes of crushed green stems and the Pine-like whispers of fresh Larch. While soft, juicy rivulets of ripe Pear invite you into this luminous space.

The heartspace bursts with a glorious abundance of Peony blooms, and just like in my garden, at her feet lays a carpet of dainty, powdery Violets. Wrapped in the dark, velvety petals of blood red Roses, before tumbling into a sweet and radiant solar accord. 

A soft undercurrent of spice and grassy Coumarin adds body and depth to the heart, gently sinking into the mysterious balsamic depths of Amber and Cedarwood. Finished with alluring whispers of Musk and sensually earthy Patchouli and final flourish of creamy Vanilla to offer lingering comfort and an air of romance.

Understanding The IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution

Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making. It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil. 

In some cases these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce. 

As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or as frugal as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.

Based on the ingredients used, as per the International Fragrance Regulation Authority, the maximum dilutions given above apply.

Blending NO. 134

We find it lends itself beautifully to blending with its atmospheric range of soft, velvety aromatics. It makes for an extremely versatile and highly coveted fragrance oil for the modern scent connoisseur. Try blending it with:
