NO. 1904 is a Floral Chypre fragrance for women and men. It captures the concept of a full blown rose blooming into night - The Queen of the Night, encapsulating all her powerful mystery and regal essence.

This is not delicate and blowsy, quite the opposite, it is Rose wrapped in ethereal shadows and seductive amber warmth. It is a sensual evening floral aroma of strength, sensuality, intimacy and is a modern twist on classic opulence.

Scent Profile

The opening of NO. 1904 glimmers briefly with a subtle and restrained citrus flash before the rich darkness unfolds, like a final glint of the setting sun on a deep crimson bloom. Crushed Rose leaves add a cool aromatic nuance before sinking into the velvet duskiness of warm Saffron and the glowing jewelled globes of Blackcurrants.

The heartspace is a lusciously deep, silky Rose accord, luminous, highly textured, and almost tactile. It is generously spiced and slightly shadowed with airy tendrils of incense smoke,  creating subtle layers of intimate mystery and darkens the Rose into sumptuous velvet. Ylang-Ylang lends her tropical, creamy floral depth and sensuality while Honey adds sweetness and mouthwatering temptation. 

The heart saunters into the base notes with a lingering trail of spice from Clove and Ambrette Seed. Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making. It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil.

In some cases these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce.

As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or as frugal as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.

Blending NO. 1904

We find it lends itself beautifully to blending with its bold, velvety and romantic range of aromatics. It makes for an extremely versatile and highly coveted fragrance oil for the modern scent connoisseur. Try blending it with:
