NO. 1900 is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for women and men. Evoking the purity, restraint and minimalist simplicity of the Scandinavian aesthetic and bringing to life the sensory memory of freshly laundered linens, crisp white shirts, and the sensual intimacy of warm skin beneath crisp, clean fabric.

It was not designed as a traditional perfume, but as an aroma to create atmosphere and ambience. It’s a masterful exercise in creating the illusion of freshness and cleanliness without synthetic detergent edges.

Scent Profile

The crisp, clean opening begins with the diffusive luminosity of Lemon and uplifting green notes of unfurling leaves and clean air. It is an enlivening breath of cool air through an open window, carrying a waft of freshly laundered white linens, drying in sunlight. Soft, radiant and like a translucent halo of naturally reviving aromatics.

The heartspace bursts open with a creamy, Lily of the Valley and white Rose accord for soft, delicate, luminosity and a dewy effect. Yellow-centered Chamomile sustains brightness and brings nearly imperceptible dry spice for balance. It is a heart of fabric-floral abstraction to create the sensory impression of a freshly pressed white shirt, still pressed and warm from the iron.

The base notes are smooth, dry, and comforting. There are no sweet notes, no amber density, just accords that echo warm fabric resting against skin. Subtle shavings of White Cedarwood add tailored structure and provide clean, pale wood notes, which along with the velvety balsam, rounds and smooths all the edges. Musk diffuses a final flourish of warmth and gives skin-scent longevity.

Understanding The IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution

Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making. It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil.

In some cases these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce.

As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or as frugal as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.

Based on the ingredients used, as per the International Fragrance Regulation Authority, the maximum dilutions given above apply.

Blending NO. 1900

We find it lends itself beautifully to blending with its soft, fresh and delicate range of aromatics. It makes for an extremely versatile and highly coveted fragrance oil for the modern scent connoisseur. Try blending it with:

• NO. 1900 Fragrance Oil Is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for any kind of lip or mouth related products as per their categories 1 and 6.
