Soap Fragrance Oils
We are proud to offer our brand new line of soap fragrance oils. Soap making is a rigorous process that is really too harsh for essential oils. Plus, being a wash-off product, they don’t really have a chance to offer any therapeutic properties. So, to get a much stranger, long-lasting fragrance, many commercial manufacturers prefer to use fragrance oils than essential oils.
Tips for Using Fragrance Oils in Cold Process Soap
Cold process is an extremely harsh environment. Since the concoction goes through several pH changes, even with the highest scent recommendation, some scents don't make it through the process. Essential oils in particular can be very unpredictable here and fragrance oils will be a better choice. For a strong scent with cold-process soap fragrance oils add 0.7 ounces of fragrance per pound soap. For melt and pour, you’ll need to add 0.3 ounces per pound. Using any more than this amount may cause skin irritation.
Traditional Fragrance Oils vs Designer Fragrance Oil
To give you as much choice and flexibility as we can we have collected fragrance oils for soap from a variety of suppliers. There are new blends and some lovely takes on famous ones you might recognize from design houses too.
In addition, to support your journey to market with your soaps, VINEVIDA can also provide IFRA Standards Certificates Of Conformity on request.
