NO. 1302 Fragrance Oil

The NO. 1302 Fragrance Oil is not a pure essential oil but rather contains fixatives to make a longer-lasting and more fragrant product. It works beautifully for Candle Making, Soap Making, and Personal Care Applications such as Lotion, Shampoo, and Liquid Soap. This list is not exhaustive and we invite you to play, create, and invent a million other ways to use it. We recommend you test a small amount before scaling up to larger-size formulations. As with all VINEVIDA products, these fragrance oils are intended for external use only and should not be ingested under any circumstances.

Scent Profile

NO. 1302 Fragrance Oil is floral and woodsy all at once, but deeply decadent. Rose unfurls into a touch of Amber, all lying on a sensuous bed of Gaïac wood, Cistus, and mysterious musky notes. Warm, spicy, woodsy, and effortlessly genderless.

Use for The NO. 1302 Fragrance Oil

Aromatherapy 

You would think anything with Rose in the title would be effortlessly feminine but this new take makes the whole affair utterly genderless. The warming spices and woods deepen the whole blend and create a fragrance oil that is rather mysterious and alluring. You can’t help but be drawn in.

Perfect for creating intimate atmospheres and lending a fragrant flourish of luxury, mystery, and sophistication to any room in the house. 

Reed Diffusers and Candles

Gorgeous for the bedroom, to make it feel sensuous, alluring, and mysterious. 

Custom Soap and Bath Products

Add a few drops to the cold process or melt and pour soaps to fragrance your bathroom beautifully. It makes a rather delicious perfume oil, shower gel, and perfumed body powder. 

Air Fresheners and Linen Sprays

Dilute a couple of drops of NO. 1302 Fragrance Oil into a teaspoon of alcohol, then fill up your spray bottle with water. Freshen the furniture, sheets, and carpet.

Crafting Projects

Great for making quite sophisticated and decadent toiletries and beauty products with its mysterious and sensuous fragrance that deepens to woods and spices and flourishes upon the skin over time. 

IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution

Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making.

It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil. In some cases, these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce. As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or parsimonious as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.

Based on the ingredients used, as per the International Fragrance Regulation Authority, the following maximum dilutions apply. 

Directions for Use

Candles

Candles and related scented items fall under Category 12 of the IFRA safety standards. The NO. 1302 Fragrance Oil has no restrictions on use for category 12. Feel free to use as much or as little as pleases your nose. 

Soaps and Bathroom Fragrances

The NO. 1302 Fragrance Oil lends itself well to bathroom products. Maximum dilution for soaps, shampoos, or any other IFRA category 9 product is 3.46%. This category also covers laundry pretreatment and cleaning products.

Maximum dilution for making an aerosol room spray or any other item that will be propelled using a pump is category 10B and 7.46%

Hand Made Perfumery

Fragrance oils make wonderful additions to handmade perfumes. For cologne in category 3B designed to be applied to freshly shaved skin, a maximum dilution of 0.50% is appropriate. This would apply to both Eau de Toilettes and fine fragrances. For hydroalcoholic perfumery products in category 4A, designed to be used on unshaved skin at a maximum dilution of 44.44%.

Body Care

As per the IFRA regulations, the maximum safe dilution for NO. 1302 Fragrance Oil for category 5A is set at 8.26% if it is used for body creams, foot care products, insect repellents, or talcum powder.

For specialized hand creams or fragrance hand sanitizers in category 5C, the maximum dilution would be 1.01%

The NO. 1302 Fragrance Oil is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for any kind of lip or mouth-related products as per their categories 1 and 6.
