Scent Profile

NO. 1903 opens with a knife breaking into overripe citrus and tropical fruit flesh. Releasing vivid rivulets of sun-warmed fruit juice, softening the crisp, fresh sparkling edge of Bergamot and Lemon. Bright, green notes of Apple and Blackcurrant leaves echo cut fruit skin and crushed stems. Guava gives a slightly resinous, tropical nuance to a fruit bowl on the edge of ripeness.

The heart is not a space of delicate fruit, it is glistening abundance tipping towards indulgence, and where the fruit turns pulpy, lush and almost fermented. Mango, Fig and red berries collapse into mouthwatering sweetness under the heat of the sun. Supported on green undertones and dewy, floral facets of Peach Blossom and Tiare Flower, before sinking into spicy accords of Cardamon, preventing cloying syrupiness.

The fermented fruit never disappears, even into the base notes, it simply melts into sunwarmed skin and dry notes of Cedarwood. In some cases these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce.

As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or as frugal as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.
