Roasted Pine Cone Fragrance Oil

Roasted Pine Fragrance Oil is not a pure essential oil, but rather contains fixatives to make a longer-lasting and more fragrant product. It works beautifully for Candle Making, Soap Making, and in Personal Care Applications such as Lotion, Shampoo, and Liquid Soap. This list is not exhaustive, and we invite you to play, create, and invent a million other ways to use it. We recommend you test a small amount before scaling up to larger-size formulations. As with all VINEVIDA products, these fragrance oils are intended for external use only and should not be ingested under any circumstances.

Roasted Pine Cone Fragrance Oil brings you clean crisp pine with slight hints of raspberry and deep luscious vanilla. It’s like walking into the woods in autumn as the breeze brings the fresh, clean fragrance of pine needles and fruiting bushes, laden with ripe, sunkissed berries.

Deep rich layers of caramel and cedarwood balance the crisp freshness of the pine and fir needles and the fruitiness of the raspberry. 

Perfect for re-creating a scent-scape of a fresh autumn day in the woods.

Use for Roasted Pine Cone Fragrance Oil

Aromatherapy 

Imagine yourself plucking berries from the bushes in the woods, twigs snap underfoot and the breeze carries the scents of fir and pine in the air.  Intensely comforting and ideal for creating a welcoming environment in which to relax. 

This is perfect for a reed diffuser to use all around the home for a sophisticated fragrance sensation. 

Candles

Gorgeous for the bathroom, to make it feel super fresh and inviting. It works brilliantly for using to make soy wax melts with those slight hints of raspberry.

Custom Soap and Bath Products

Add a few drops to the cold process or melt and pour soaps to fragrance your bathroom beautifully.

Air Fresheners and Linen Sprays

Dilute a couple of drops of Roasted Pine Cone Fragrance Oil into a teaspoon of alcohol, then fill up your spray bottle with water. Freshen the furniture, sheets, and carpet.

Crafting Projects

IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution

Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making.

It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil. In some cases, these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce. As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or parsimonious as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.

Based on the ingredients used, as per the International Fragrance Regulation Authority, the following maximum dilutions apply. 

Directions for Use

Candles

Candles and related scented items fall under Category 12 of the IFRA safety standards. Roasted Pine Cone Fragrance Oil has no restrictions on use for category 12. Feel free to use as much or as little as pleases your nose. 

Soaps and Bathroom Fragrances

Roasted Pine Cone Fragrance Oil lends itself well to bathroom products. Maximum dilution for personal care applications such as lotion shampoo and liquid soap or any other IFRA category 9 product is 31.25%. This category also covers laundry pretreatment and cleaning products.

Maximum dilution for making an aerosol room spray or any other item that will be propelled using a pump is category 10B and 31.25%.

Hand Made Perfumery

Fragrance oils make wonderful additions to handmade perfumes. For cologne in category 3B designed to be applied to freshly shaved skin, a maximum dilution of 7.33% is appropriate. This would apply to both Eau de Toilettes and fine fragrances. For hydroalcoholic perfumery products in category 4A, designed to be used on unshaved skin, a maximum dilution of 31.25%.

If you decide to use Roasted Pine Cone Fragrance Oil in deodorant or antiperspirant products in category 2, the maximum dilution is 1.76%. This applies to either roll-on or body spray products.

Body Care

As per the IFRA regulations, the maximum safe dilution for Roasted Pine Cone Fragrance Oil For category 5A is set at 31.25% if it is used for body creams, foot care products, insect repellents, or talcum powder.

For specialized hand creams or fragrance hand sanitizers in category 5C, the maximum dilution would be 8.43%.

Safety Caution

Roasted Pine Cone Fragrance Oil is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for any kind of lip or mouth-related products as per their categories 1 and 6.
