NO. 1300 Fragrance Oil

The NO. 1300 Fragrance Oil is not a pure essential oil but rather contains fixatives to make a longer-lasting and more fragrant product. It works beautifully for Candle Making, Soap Making, and Personal Care Applications such as Lotion, Shampoo, and Liquid Soap. This list is not exhaustive and we invite you to play, create, and invent a million other ways to use it. We recommend you test a small amount before scaling up to larger-size formulations. As with all VINEVIDA products, these fragrance oils are intended for external use only and should not be ingested under any circumstances.

Scent Profile

NO. 1300 Fragrance Oil is a clean scent with a musky dark undertone. Pear, Citrus, and Apple burst forth, holding hands with Ambrette, Jasmine, and Moss and animalistic musks wrap up the rather vibrant party.

Aromatherapy

NO. 1300 Fragrance Oil conjures up a stylish fashionista event, full of glossy magazines, champagne illicit cocaine, and expectations for the naughty night ahead. Daring, stylish, and a tiny bit dangerous.

Perfectly balanced with top fruity and citrus notes, the heady and luxurious floral of Jasmine and Ambrette. Yet, it is that base note of those animalistic musks that make this strangely addictive, alluring and makes you feel just a little naughty.

Definitely one for the bedroom, unless you’re feeling in the party mood and roll it out around the house.

Reed Diffusers and Candles

Gorgeous for the bedroom, making it feel sensuous and alluring, and it allows you to surrender to the night.

Custom Soap and Bath Products

Add a few drops to the cold process or melt and pour soaps to fragrance your bathroom beautifully. It makes a rather delicious perfume oil, shower gel, and body lotion for date night. 

Air Fresheners and Linen Sprays

Dilute a couple of drops of NO. 1300 Fragrance Oil into a teaspoon of alcohol, then fill up your spray bottle with water. Freshen the furniture, sheets, and the carpet.

It would be great to spray your bed linen before you crumple the sheets beyond all order! 

Crafting Projects

IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution

Maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning on making.

It should be noted that maximum dilutions are from a safety aspect only, based on the chemical composition of the oil. In some cases, these are very high, because all components are relatively benign. These amounts are not necessarily recommendations of how much to use in your recipe. They may smell too strong or make the item prohibitively expensive to produce. As long as you remain below the advised limits, you can be as generous or parsimonious as you like. Use more, use less. We’ll leave the creative stuff to you.

Based on the ingredients used, as per the International Fragrance Regulation Authority, the following maximum dilutions apply. 

Directions for Use

Candles

Candles and related scented items fall under Category 12 of the IFRA safety standards. The NO. 1300 Fragrance Oil has no restrictions on use for category 12. Feel free to use as much or as little as pleases your nose. 

Soaps and Bathroom Fragrances

The NO. 1300 Fragrance Oil lends itself well to bathroom products. Maximum dilution for soaps, shampoos, or any other IFRA category 9 product is 2.39%. This category also covers laundry pretreatment and cleaning products.

Maximum dilution for making an aerosol room spray or any other item that will be propelled using a pump is category 10B and 15.10%

Hand Made Perfumery

Fragrance oils make wonderful additions to handmade perfumes. For cologne in category 3B designed to be applied to freshly shaved skin, a maximum dilution of 0.51% is appropriate. This would apply to both Eau de Toilettes and fine fragrances. For hydroalcoholic perfumery products in category 4A, designed to be used on unshaved skin at a maximum dilution of 6.04%.

If you decide to use The NO. 1300 Fragrance Oil in deodorant or antiperspirant products in category 2, the maximum dilution is 1.76%. This applies to either roll-on or body spray products

Body Care

As per the IFRA regulations, the maximum safe dilution for NO. 1300 Fragrance Oil for category 5A is set at 5.41% if it is used for body creams, foot care products, insect repellents, or talcum powder.

For specialized hand creams or fragrance hand sanitizers in category 5C, the maximum dilution would be 1.04%.

The NO. 1300 Fragrance Oil is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for any kind of lip or mouth-related products as per their categories 1 and 6.
